  @spencinator Hi @spencinator, the I-70 Mountain Express Lane is closed on certain weekends due to FHWA restrictions on the days it can be open in a year. Peak weekends tend to be holiday weekends, but can vary during the winter. Happy to help clarify.

  @atriskute @atriskute The Mountain Express Lanes are shoulders and not built to withstand the same amounts of traffic as general purpose lanes. The Federal Highway Administration allows for lane use in peak periods. In off peak, the lane turns back into a shoulder for emergency pullovers.
