Daisy: This was very scary. We were in the right lane of the fastrac going west bound when traffic started to come to a crawl. The cars in the left lane started to merge over the right lane. When we got to the area where they were merging we saw debris in lanes and a car on its side in the eastbound lane against the wall. It was like an optical course trying to get around the items; looked like a bumper, 5 gallon paint bucket and other items. As soon as we got through we heard a hard crash. We assumed someone ran into the disabled vehicle. I was not driving and I looked back to see fire. My husband and I prayed for the victims and their families. We were so nervous and shook up we missed our exit to the 22 from the 55 and had to continue on to the 405. 4 years ago > REPLY
