Highway 19 north of Hilo reopened following landslide

just before 6:30 a.m., Highway 19 (Hawaii Belt Rd) was closed near Hakalau mile marker 16. The landslide shut down the entire highway earlier on Saturday, causing drivers to have to re-route. > react
