Statistics show there were 821 fatal crashes🚔 in work zones resulting in 891 deaths in 2022. In addition, 94 roadway workers were killed in #workzones. The vast majority of people killed were motorists, passengers and pedestrians.

Today, we honor Arnold Lenox, a District 11 Surveyor. On April 19, 1963, Mr. Lenox was killed and his co-workers injured when an errant driver entered the work zone, causing a non-motorized vehicle they were working on to roll over. #RIP 🧡
