A new bridge leading to Colonial Life Boulevard has opened as a part of the Carolina Crossroads Project.
The new bridge will change the current traffic pattern to allow for future progress on the I-20/I-26/I-126 interchange.

Traffic Update – U.S. 301 in Orangeburg fully reopen to traffic
The waters have receded and SCDOT has fully reopened U.S. 301 in Orangeburg to traffic. There are still road closures in the area and drivers are encouraged to travel with caution.
Pay attention to signs and law enforcement directing traffic.
