  @DonCar177 Crews have certainly done a good job with the frequent repairs of I-696 through the years but it was simply time for a full rebuild, including all the layers of the roadway, not just the top surface, not to mention all the work scheduled for the 60 bridges.

  @DonCar177 Hi DC! The final phase of the I-696 project involves rebuilding I-696 in 2025-26, while in 2027, I-696 will have major road work done between I-75 and Dequindre Road. Work includes rebuilding the roadway, bridge work on 60 structures & drainage structures. https://t.co/W8f7WCrAqu
