USer Comment Colleen Bonner: E I96, near Brighton, MI. 01/04/24. I got an alert, what looked to be 2 or 3 accidents up a head on E96. All 3 lanes were at a STOP. Some people decided to drive on the right shoulder to try & get to exit 145 to get off I96..Well this caused a bigger issue!! An EMS that was called, could not get to the accident because of all the vehicles STOPPED on the shoulder. This is a problem! IT'S COMMON SENSE PEOPLE. !! Shame on all of you! I was 1.5 hrs. late for work. (It is what it is). I truly hope no one died, Then to top it off, the vehicles holding up the EMS unit, could of turned their vehicle to the right, go on the grass a bit, just to let the EMS go by, Nope! they go left, squeezing the far right lane even tighter for no pass of way. 1 year ago > REPLY
