    @Anthony_Platas We do, but we need traffic running on our deicer to break it down to start to melt the snow. If we close the pass to clear vehicles, we are still plowing snow and putting down deicer, but need traffic to run over it to make it start melting.

    @JStouenberg @NateNate3737 Oh it's always easier to blame someone else than the one who is actually causing the problem - drivers not obeying traction requirements, which block lanes = closing the pass to move them out of the way so we can get a lane back open.

    @Anthony_Platas Well, we have drivers who don't know how to drive in the snow/or don't want to obey traction tire requirements. Spin out + block lanes = closing pass to try and move blocking vehicles.

    @Anthony_Platas Actually our crews plow from North Bend (MP 35) to Ellensburg (106) so more like 70+ miles to maintain.

    @brian4252 Our crews typically work to push the collisions to the shoulder to get things moving again. It takes a little bit and we don't post times for reopening because we all know things don't always go as planned.
