@Cade__ashton Our immediate first steps (while emergency personnel worked collision) were to safely secure area behind the bridge so incoming NB I-5/SR 520 traffic didn't pack the bridge further. Then it had to safely secure the wrong-way turnaround areas.

3:55 a.m. update: NB I-5 will remain closed at the Ship Canal Bridge for a significant time period. Our crews have already set up traffic diversions, such as the one shown below at SR 520.
